Dalmore 30 Year Old 2021 Release

This brand newly released Dalmore 30 Year Old is a spectacular single malt whisky with a depth of history as well as flavour. This has spent its maturation in American oak ex-bourbon casks, and was finished in tawny port pipes. Not just any port though, but Graham’s 30 Year Old Tawny Port. A true Dalmore, this is a rich dram, full of body and elegance. This 2021 release is a limited release, and is presented at 42.8% abv.

The nose exhibits characteristics of the port, with stewed black cherries, treacle, and a hint of citrus filling the nose. The palate is dark and luscious, with notes of ripe orchard fruits, Black Forest gâteau, apple pie, and vanilla ice cream. The finish is creamy, with a lingering rich nuttiness.
