Adictivo Tequila Extra Anejo

Tequila Adictivo is founded by Gildardo Partida, who comes from a legacy of tequileros, which have been dedicated for over a century to “The art of making tequila.” Their Tequila is produced in El Arenal Jalisco, the gateway to the blue region of tequila.

The agave landscape and ancient distilleries are distinctive to this region, forging a distinct identity and a style rooted in tradition.

Made in Jalisco, Mexico, this tequila was distilled from 100% blue agave tequila before being aged for seven years in French oak casks and bottled at 80 proof. Adictivo Extra Anejo has deep complex flavors of dried fruits, roasted flavors, fruity aromas and toasted oak with a sweet character. The finish is lingering with a hint of vanilla sweetness.

Let me start by saying this is a good Bourbon for the price But the hype around it, is crazy. Great nose, mild flavor and warm finish. Good to have on the shelf but not Great.

I’m not one to refrigerate my bourbon, preferring a room temperature shot from time to time. The first notes of Noah’s were wonderful. There was a soft heat and the fruity notes were lovely. As time went on and we got closer to the bottom of the bottle, it heated. Harshly. We are not aficionados and perhaps didn’t treat this whiskey quite right, but that last shot was really tough. I might take to refrigerating in the future …
