This single cask expression from Hunter Laing & Co.’s First Editions series was distilled in 2009 at Blair Athol in the Perthshire town of Pitlochry. Matured in a single sherry butt for its full term, this limited edition release produced just 669 bottles in 2019, each one presented at a preferred strength of 46% abv, free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.
The nose has apple, strawberry and caramel. The palate is sweet and fruity with vanilla, red berries and a spicy undertone. The finish is long and fruity with a pepper note lingering.

From The First Editions, comes this 13-year-old single malt distilled at Blair Athol’s Highland distillery. Bottled at 46% abv, this liquid is free from chill filtration and at natural colour. The limited whisky is one of only 428 bottles, decanted from a single sherry butt.
Expect aromas of lemon zest, toffee and apricots, leading to a palate full of sweet berries, green herbs and caramel. The finish is a medium length, with a sweetness that lingers on.
